We are thrilled to share with you the wonderful experiences we had last week at Hypha!
Approved by Jen 😉 who sent us this beautiful message. Thank you, we are beyond happy to receive these messages, it means a lot ❤️
One of the highlights of the week was our daily healthy eating activities. We took the children on a tour of the fruit trees in our garden and vegetable garden, teaching them about different fruits and vegetables and their benefits. Afterwards, we engaged in a hands-on cooking session where the children learned valuable culinary skills while making delicious fruit and vegetable recipes. These activities not only promoted healthy eating habits but also strengthened fine motor skills. We were delighted to see everyone enjoying their healthy snacks, and it was wonderful to witness the children sharing their knowledge about food.
In our quest to connect children with nature, we spent a significant portion of the week exploring our sensory garden and outdoor environment. This immersive experience enabled the children to engage with the natural environment, sparking their curiosity and wonder. They participated in collaborative sensory activities and used their creativity to make beautiful sensory collages, make herbal tea and create bees wax wraps. The sensory garden provided a tranquil space for the children to relax and learn about the world around them.
We look forward to another fantastic week of camp!
